Long, black, hard bug?!!?!?!! Maybe beetle?

Question

I saw this bug in the living room yesterday and i tried to smack it but it was really really hard! And then it flew away. Today I found it and got a few pictures. Does anyone know what kind of bug/beetle this is?

Its a click beetle.  I'm not sure which species.

It's definitely a click beetle, Family Elateridae, possibly Dalopius sp.  Most species are dull colored but the tropical members can be very colorful and bioluminescent!  Mostly feed at night on leaves. Completely harmless to humans. Just scoop him up in a container and put him outside. A very cool beetle. :)
