Long Distance Phone Calls(Need Answers Very Soon)?

Question

I'm frustrated right now because i just tryed to call out of my area code,and yes we do have long distance,i pressed 1 first. I dialed the number but before i got to the last number it just dialed automatically without letting me finish dialing the number. We don't have digital phones,we still have landline phones where you dial the numbers in and have a caller ID Box attatched. We do have long distance,we pay for it,at that unlimited. How to dial out of my area code,clueless of why this information would help but i live in Chicago.

Hello,

Fisrt question is have you informed your phone co of the situation. It can only be a small technical problem. If your company (which should be your first contact) doesn't want to help I would ditch them and go to one that care for their consumer. I've done it and I'll never go back to another one.
