Question:

Long Distance Relationship?

I met a great guy at a club one night. We did not have s*x, but we did meet the next day and we spent sometime together. We agreed to keep in contact, however, he lives in Italy and I live in the US. We have kept in contact and we are both very much interested in seeing each other and possibly pursuing a relationship. My roommate told me that I should keep myself available, but in my mind I can not see myself pursuing a guy when I am clearly interested in someone and will be keeping in contact them. What are your thoughts and advice on this situation? Should I continue with this guy who is interested and it could possibly lead to somewhere in the future or should I satisfy my craving here? All advice and comments are appreciated.

  1. You can do both, he won't know. Even if he dose find out he can't really get mad considering you live no where near, It'd probably be better seeing people, as I, a man, would be looking at other women and talking too you.

  2. Ok im enlisting in the US Marine Corp and i talked to a girl and asked if it would work and she said no...  No offense but its better if you move on.  For instance im going to be a complete creep and stalk when i get back...

  3. I am actually in a similar situation. To tell you the truth, anything could happen. Depending on how often you are in touch by emails, phone, chat, or even seeing each other.

If there are plans set between you two, yes it could work.

You really need to know what kind of person he is and what he is after, otherwise you will be waiting for a dream that will never come true.

Meanwhile, I suggest you do not put all your hope onto that relationship, leave your options open while you are trying making it work with him.

Or if you two are really into each other, you spend some money or he spends some money and join each other somewhere in the world. Spend a couple of weeks with him and then you both decide what's next.

I believe it is worth spending whatever money and time that needs to clarify this matter.

    Wish you all the best

  4. wont happen.he'll see others..might as well do the same..long distance doesnt work out. never had never will. people need contact and seeing each other once a year will get old real fast.

  5. My fiance lives in CA, I Iive in MO. Although it's not nearly as long distant as yours, I can say that it is easy to have one if you know how to excerise patience and loyalty. If you only want him for the time being at least, then go for it. Just make sure that there's no friggin spell checker in between your every sentence!
