  1. I'm sorry.. i have no clue..

But i live in oregon =D

  2. depending on what your home phone package is. if your parents bought the package for local calls only or maybe they have long distance calls. or they maybe dont even have both and are charged by the minutes. the only way you will know is if you ask your parents, and most likely they will ask you why you are asking.

*67 blocks your number from other persons phone (their caller id or if they should *69 you back.

*67 - Calling Number Delivery Blocking - Allows the subscriber to temporarily change the permanent public/private status indicator of his/her directory number (DN) and thus control its availability to the called party.

  3. *67 only blocks the number for caller ID and on the phone bill, it doesnt make it any cheaper....the phone company still knows where hes calling from

if he calls you, im pretty sure he pays.....not 100% but i am pretty sure thats how it works

  4. If your boyfriend is calling you direct dialed, then there is no charge for you to answer the call.

If he is calling you collect, you have to agree to accept the charges before the call is connected.  In that case, when you get your phone bill it will show where the call came from and the charge for the call.

If he dials *67 before dialling your number,  it will show up as an "Unknown name/number" call on your end.  His number will not show up on your bill, as he is the one making the call.

    Hope this helps!

  5. unless you have free long distance it will cost and all *67 would do is block the number on the caller id it will still show up on the bill as restricted or anonymous or unknown it wont keep them from billing you unless you all have free long distance.  im not sure why he is saying you wont be charged cause unless you have free long distance you would still be charged for the time on the phone.
