May I know the particular holidays in the months of September to December in Brussels, Belgium so that I will be able to arrange my visit to London during that days. Is there such 4-day straight holidays during that months? 4 days or more is better.

  1. Best choice would be Armistice day on November 11, a Tuesday, which means that some public offices, banks and schools will also close on Monday 10.

  2. I'm not in Belgium so can of course stand corrected!  However the calendar which sits in front of me also states holidays for Belgium as well as the Netherlands.

The bad news is that there are no consectutive 4 days holidays so you are going to have to decide when is best for you.

September 27 - -but this is not throughout the whole of Belgium, only in Wallonia (French speaking) and so not a public holiday

November 1 - All Saints (but this is a Saturday this year)

November 2 - All Souls Day - not always a public holiday for all companies but anyway this is on a Sunday

November 11 - Armistice Day (Tuesday)

November 15 - Dynasty Day only observed by the German speaking and thus not a public holiday throughout

December 25 - Christmas Day - Thursday so you could use this (with the Friday) to make it a long weekend.........but of course it is Xmas, so you should decide if Belgium is where you want to spend it
