Long car ride, what to do?

Question

I'm going to florida tomorrow, and we have to drive for 14 hours! eek, i know!

Two of my sisters are coming, that should be pretty entertaining, but what else can i do for 14 hours?

* Also, anything I need to make sure not to forget??

bring loads of magazines you can read, if you have a portable dvd player or a laptop watch movies, bring your nintendo ds if you have one, bring a note pad to jot stuff down and bring a camera to take pics. You could listen to the radio and talk to your family or you should fall asleep for most of the journey as time goes quicker - bring a blanket and a pillow!

i read in long car rides. i usually get sick too, but you could just take some dramamine (like i do). it will make you drowsy, so you will prolly sleep for awhile (which will take up some time).

I had to drive like 9 hours once. Wooah! And i thought that was long lol. Well I brought a pillow-to sleep. I brought my ipod, camera(to take pics as you go by of outside or even yourself or your siblings to remember the moment!) You can bring candy-and split them with your sisters and chat. Do you have a laptop? If you don't no worries but it is cool because you can go on msn. Songs for your ipod- A Millie by Lil Wayne. It is cool like the base is booming-I love it! More songs can be forever by Chris Brown. I loove that song<3 When I was on my plane ride to go to Florida for my cruise I listened to this song Jerk It Out by Ceasers Palace-It got me real excited to go for some reason. :) These are just some songs there is many more. I would take forever to write them though. You can bring a magazine I can see you get car sick but magazines have big letters and they are just fun to glance at every so often! Maybe bring a pen and paper to play tic tac toe with your sisters, I know childish right? Well.. no haha I like to play still. Or you can just draw. In my friends car once on the way back from her cottage she had a portable DVD player it was real cool, so if you have one bring it! And bring some snacks:DTheese are just a couple of the many things you can do. Well have fun in Florida; you're real lucky :) Have a good trip, and hope you fun during the car ride there! xo

Talk to your sisters

Magazines

Laptop

Well, I'm sure you will be stopping to go and grab something to eat or go to the bathroom.

Also, you could play slow songs on your ipod and fall asleep..remember, we are trying to kill time :)!!

Get snacks like :

Chips

Chocolate

Coke

Popcorn

Sandwiches

Pizza

Keep all the snacks in one bag for the family.

And keep all your private items in a small bag of your own.

Take a pillow too!!! DONT FORGET!!

Hey! I would listen to my iPod and maybe even bring a portable dvd player if you have one. Watch movies and just look at the scenery. i'd love long car rides and i just like to sit back, relax, and listen to music : ]

oh and talking to your family is ok too [maybe playing games... 99 Bottle s of beer etc..]

lol, come ON.. i've driven across the country....TWICE... that was TWO WEEKS in a car with my paretns, little brother and my dog....plus i've gone on about two dozen 14-18 hour flights between Korea and the U.S. handheld videogame

i have to drive 33 hours in about 2 days from now going frrom new jersey to texas. what i am going to bring is a pillow, personal snackk, a cover, my lap top i get enternet, dvds, ipod, camera for sites we pass,books, a few magazens and i am going with my brother and i guess we are just going to talk. oh and also bring like a piar of slip on shoes so you can get them on quick at bathroom breaks and thing like that.

sometimes books are good to read, but some people get car sick. so magazines are good to glance and and just read what you want

my sister and i play this game. it's like "don't forget the lyrics" you know that show on tv??

person A picks a song for person B to sing. then person A pauses the song at any point and person B has to sing the next line of the song. hope i explained that ok!
