i have a very long cycle ( around 1 month and 1 week, e.g last AF was 21july so next should be 28th august)

i was wondering if its more likely i ovulate later or earlier(have a long leutal phase), if you get my drift.

i kno many will most likely say use OPKs but this isnt viable atm as we are living with my mother while our house is being renovated and i would prefer her not to know we are ttc.

also does could long cycle mean im not ovulating?my dr wont see us untill after a year so im at a bit of a dead end.

we gave ttc 8months now and really would like a baby of our own.

im 20 DB 27.

thanx alot x*x

  1. I just found out that a cycle longer than 35 days or shorter than 21 can mean you are not ovulating. I have the same problem as you and we have also been ttc for almost 9 months now. I think I am going to try the ovulation kits because I can no longer track it. Good luck and lots of baby dust!

  2. Vicky's right.  So if your next period is due on 8/28, then your fertile window would have been from 8/9-8/16 this month which means you're already past it.

    Good luck!

  3. You will always ovulate around 14 days before your NEXT period. Whether your cycles are long, short, irregular or like clockwork. That's just the way it works! So in short, your fertile window will start around 19 days before AF until 12 days before AF. More or less.
