Long distance in canada?

my phone is free after 9 and i have at&t...so would it still charge if i call my friend that lives in windsor canada? they have area codes like we do here in the states.

It is free if you bought a plan that includes Canada.  It depends on which plan you bought.

If you have internet access, you can use skype.

It is free to download skype ( www.skype,com).

Your friend can do the same (download skype ) then you guys can call each other free using skype.  One thing with skype is you have to use PC or lap top (unless you have skype phone).

You can also subscribe for about $3.00 /month for unlimited call to landline to Canada.
