Question:

Long distance relationship doomed?

I have been dating my boyfriend for a little over 6 months now. We talk or text daily, and usually see each other on the weekends. We live an hour away from each other, but because I have a dog my boyfriend usually comes to my house for the weekend. The problem is he works about 60 hours a week and yesterday he said that he wanted us to spend more time with his friends who live where he lives. He already has me hanging out with his family about one day each weekend, or else he plays golf with his dad. So it is not as if i am keeping him from important people in his life. He and his friends never make any plans until the last minute so it is hard for me to jump up and hang out but whenever he asks me to hang with them I do. I just feel as though between the 60 hours of work, his golf games with his family, his need to see his friends and the hour distance between us, there isn't enough time for me so maybe I should just remove myself from the equation. What do ya'll think?

  1. I think everyone needs something different in a relationship and you need to understand that. If this bothers you so, ask him if its possible to be able to make more definite plans with you and if need be, ask what he wants out of this relationship. He may have a different direction in mind than you do so this info would be useful. Or, he may just be a little self involved and isnt realizing how this is affecting you.

  2. i think yall sound better off broken up

  3. I'm in a long distance relationship as well. We live 2 hours apart though. I seem him every weekend. I don't really have a problem with him doing other things during the week long as I know that he'll be with me all weekend long. You should just let the man do his thing and enjoy the time you do spend together. Or you can always talk to him about how you feel.
