Long distance relationship with a 14 year old girl and a 18 year old guy?

Over the summer i meet a guy who is 4 years older than me and we started out friends then became bf/gf then he asks me to marry him. i say yes but now idk if that was a good idea or not. i love him and we have a lot in common and my heart is saying marry him in 9 years like u planned but my brain is saying to think more.

what should i do?

You shouldn't go and marry at your age right now. Plus, have you ever actually met this guy? I advise you to think clearly. There is no rush!

Plus, do your parents know about this?

In addition, depending on what state you live in, you might not be able to get married without parental consent.

I would also say that since you are a fourteen year old and he is already eighteen, then you could run into a couple of problems.

hahahha well as much as i wanna laugh at this question [no offense] i'm pretty much there. except for the whole marrying part ... which i highly suggest you don't do. or think about until you're at least 20. and the sad thing is ... i've never even met the boy before. he's a friend of a friend. who just so happens to live a long way away. and i like him an awful lot. so i know what you're going through. not to mention i'm 15 and he's 18. i know how much you're heart is telling you to just leap into it. but really, i'd wait. at least until you're a little older. that doesn't mean you can't be friends. or even more than friends if you want. just don't get in over your head. good luck hon! ♥
