Do you think a revolution in homegrown and community based markets will occur given the increasing costs of long distance shipping due to high energy prices?

  1. "revolution"? No.

    An increase, yes, to the extent that it makes sense with new transportation costs.


  2. The "buy local" movement is almost as old as the organic movement.  I'm sure it has gained more traction since transportation costs have been skyrocketing.
