  1. HAHAHA, no, long hair does not cause headaches.

The only possible correlation would be heat headaches (long hair might make your head warmer).

  2. Yes, my Doctor said long hair can give you headaches because of the constant pull of your hair on your scalp. If you keep your hair up and not hanging down all the time you shouldn't have so many headaches. I used to have long hair and headaches everyday so I got it cut short but that was because I always got a headache from putting clips or ponytail holders in my hair. I now keep my hair short but still have stress headaches everyday. Long hair will also contribute to anemia, it takes all the iron you take in for your body. But I would try keeping it up and be sure to eat foods rich in iron.

  3. no that's not true!!! my sister have a bad headace all the times and her hair is short, look a lot of people have bad headaces from stresses, you need get your eyes doctor, that's all.............

  4. Yes, long hair can cause headaches. I had a girlfriend when I was a teenager who had severe headaches. Her parents took her from specialist to specialist and she almost had exploratory brain surgery because the headaches were so bad. One specialist told her parents to cut her hair a little at a time until she got to a length that her headaches stopped. For her, this was about shoulder length (her hair had been at her waist). She keeps her hair at shoulder length and has never had those kind of headaches again.

For you, I guess it will depend on how bad the headaches get. I know you like long hair, but that could be the only way to stop them. You could try cutting a little at a time and see if it helps. Good luck.

  5. The longer I keep my hair, the more I tend to get tension headaches, so I definitely think it has something to do with it.  My hair used to curl to my waist (if I straightened it I could almost sit on it) and I would have headaches a lot.  I keep it shorter now, but it's down past my shoulders again, and I've started having headaches again.  It's pretty much time for a hair cut. :o)
