Long plane journey ????

What shall i pack to do on an 11 hour plane journey plus waiting in the airport ????

i pack a book, my laptop, maybe a magazine, some snack foods... etc.

but in the end, always end up watching a plane movie and passing out..

Take books if you like reading, an mp3 player as you can never get enough music although if you have a phone that is safe for flight mode they still dont let you use it so you have to have an mp3 if you want music, if you have a Nintedo DS or PSP etc you can take one of them, i cant think of much else, a travel pillow for sleep?

For the first half an hour you'll be gaining height so can look out of the window.  Then they'll come round with drinks and small packets of nibbles.  That will take another hour.  Then a meal will be served.  That will take another hour before they tidy all the meals up.  You'll queue up for the loo for about twenty minutes after that.  Then you'll watch a movie on the video on the seat in front.  That takes another two hours.  Then you'll look out of the window for another half an hour or so to see where you are and check on the seat back map and read the in-flight magazine or play games with your handset, eg solitaire.  You'll then stare unseeingly out of the window and think of the forthcoming trip for about twenty minutes.  Then they'll come round with another round of drinks and nibbles and half an hour or so later you'll get another meal.  After another hour, you'll queue up again for about twenty minutes to go to the loo.  You'll go back to your seat and doze for a couple of hours because by then the early start to the day and the excitement will be getting to you.  Then before you know it, a very noisy announcement will be made on the tannoy about the duty free and shortly after that you'll be making your descent.  What to pack?  Sandwiches if you don't like plane food and plenty of water.  Headache tablets and toothbrush and toothpaste, deodorant and a small bar of soap and a flannel.  Spare knickers, a small plastic bag and a thick pair of socks.  A packet of mints. Possibly a flow up neck pillow for comfort.  If you must take a book, take just one small one that's easy to read.  Have a good trip.

well every summer i go from nevada to england since i was 9 years... (im in england now ^.^) it also takes 11 hrs. anyways... i usually bring paper to doodle on, a book, magazine, and a pack of cards...

wat i also did that was fun was when the seat belt sign is off, u can ask the stewertess if u can visit the pilot to see wat they do and stuff XD

I had an 11 hour flight last year and took my ipod, books, and magazines. I also made sure i had pain killers incase of a headache. make sure you have some mad money for duty fee so you can sit and have a drink and some food, also you can have a good look round duty free and the time at the airport will go really quickly. have fun and enjoy youre holiday xx

OMG right now I was just thinking the same thing. Tomorrow morning I have a flight from Istanbul to New York and it takes 11 hours too. I decided to take 4 different books, an uno and a sudoku book. Good luck!
