Im 14 and i started using mascara last year , i remove my makeup before going to bed ,but when i do i see that some eyelashes fall out during the procedure , is it because they're getting weaker or simply cause i wear mascara every day? . Are there any products in the uk that could soften and maybe protect my eyelashes so im not completley eyelashless by the time im 30 ? also , whats the best lengthening mascara i can buy in the uk ?

  1. well dear, i think the problem is that you are wearing mascara everyday. Kudos for removing it before bed, though :]

When you apply then remove then apply then remove, all that rubbing breaks the poor eyelashes and makes them weaker, and the mascara doesn't let them "breathe". if you want to have eyelashes when you are 30, this is what you need to do:

first and foremost, get used to yourself without the mascara - by now you are probably so used to seeing yourself with it that when you don't wear it you think your face looks more plain, or "unfinished". But it's not true, you look just fine without it, girl! try not wearing it during a week or a weekend that you don't have to go out and get "made up", to give your poor eyelashes some rest.

Then nurture them back to health with this - http://waaw.co.uk/ecrinal-new-eyelash-ge... I'm sure you can find it at a pharmacy.

i use this thing everyday and it is AWESOME! It really helps your lashes be longer, thicker and much healthier. But you can't put mascara on top! The thing is, this product works like a very glossy clear mascara so your lashes will still look done when you apply it, plus they will start looking much healthier after a few weeks, and you won't need the mascara anymore.

Also, when you apply the Ecrinal (product i linked) you can then curl your lashes to make them even longer and more visible.

Then try to use mascara only on special occasions, when you go out or a date, etc.

    Drugstore brands i recommend :

Rimmel "Eye Magnifier" eye opening mascara - for longer lashes

Max factor "volume couture" - for thick volume lashes

    The last thing is :

When you remove your mascara before bed, do it very gently with the help of a q-tip or a cotton disk, to avoid breaking them, and use a product that is gentle on the eyes. Then moisturize your eye area and apply  a little Ecrinal.

I recommend these eye make up removers :

    La Roche-Posay "toleriane" and/or "respectissime

Bioderma Sensibio H2O (not just for eyes, it's good for your whole face)

I live in the US but tend to get a lot of my skin products in Europe so i am sure you will find these things available in a decent pharmacy that caries cosmetics (that's where i get mine), or at a beauty counter.

Good luck, take care of those lashys :]

  2. i think its normal but try not wearing mascara everyday like when nobody is coming over or yuo arent going out dont wear any makeup, its good for your skin to have a breather sometimes... lengthening mascara, i know a good one, it works GREAT i have it and my lashes got really long even the bottom ones, its called lash exact from covergirl  i think its in an orange bottle thingy
