Now I just got hired at a a uniform company that washes, dry-cleans, folds, and rents out uniforms for the Health Care industry where I got hired and other various uniforms that I'm not authorized to know. The problem I'm having is I live in a depressed town where any more I have to go 30 miles one way to find work. I'll be getting 40 hours every week full time and a good wage, but the problem I'm having is transportation.

I haven't had a good job history in the past 3 years because I was to immature to realize how stupid I was being so I've finally grown up and matured in area's that my fiancee had to express to me how to change for the better and help motivate me to become the fine adult that I'm slowly turning out to be. Also my poor job history is related to my family's ways of helping me out which was only providing me a way to work if it was on the way because my parents didn't want to change their morning habits just to help me out temporarily while I watched my friends parents and even my own fiancee's parents change their regular habits to help their children succeed. My parents just tell me to go do it myself and thats their awesome advice to me.

Well my mom has realized that I really do need her help and I am struggling because NO ONE in my family even wants to help me even though that I finally found a job that has HEALTH BENEFITS after 90 days and my work place pays for it on top of that.

My mom said she was offer me a ride to and from for the next 4-5 weeks since she is taking that time to heal for a hysterectomy surgery and my mom and I have bridged our parent-child relationship to a normal standing. We both are terrified to ask my dad's opinion because on top of all things he wouldn't even allow me to BUY my own car insurance for their car just to PROVE to another potential employer that I had my own car insurance to drive their company vehicle's.

So how am I suppose to work if NO ONE in my family is willing to give me a helping hand. My fiancee has been doing the tasks my family should have had the motivation to do and she's sick of it. Also she starts college in a town that is about an hour away from where I live and is not able to provide me transportation.

I'm afraid to ask my dad if I can buy my own car insurance for their 1989 chevy cavalier which is their crappy beater car since they have a really good one now so I have a way to work especially if I'm only allowed to drive it to work and work only and pay for any problems that occur while I'm driving it. I know what he'll say...he'll say what he always says "sorry dude but thats not my problem, should have thought of that before you applied" when he knows that there is no work in the town and thats why both my parents work out of town too but only by 20 minutes where as for me its about 30-40 minutes.

Public transportation is a no go because I HAVE to be at work exactly at 6:00 am or I get a half point for being late and 5 pts gets me canned.

So I'm in desperate need of idea's, plans, solutions, anything will do!!!!

Please help me!!!! It's greatly appreciated very very very much!!!!!!

Thanks
