does anybody know what long run growth is and a few examples of it?

  1. In what country?  

    In the U.S., the long-run growth averages about 2.5% a year, with 1% contributed by labor force growth and 1.5%, by productivity growth.


  2. Long-run growth means there is increase of one variable (even with some volatility) over long period of time. Some examples could be GDP growth, Monetary base growth, investment growth, etc.
