Long stitch!!

Question

i have an urgent job to fix and I tripped on my cord resulting in my sewing machine falling onto the floor. I took it in to get fixed as it was sewing long stitches long.It went well again for a day but then out of nowhere started to sew in long stitch formation in all stitches.Can any body please help me?.
