Long trip to Animal Kingdom?

Question

Im Tara and im 10 years old. Im going to Animal Kingdom on a feild trip. On Monday. We go on a luxary coach bus, so it will be comfy. We leave at 5:30 am, and have a 4 hour bus ride... we also have a 4 hour bus ride back. What should i bring on the way there, in the park, and pack. Its not an overnight trip.

for the bus ride - music (iPod or whatever), snacks, book or magazines.  hopefully you can left the stuff on the bus, you don't want to have to carry it around the park all day.

be sure to see The Festival of the Lion King and It's Tough to be a Bug.  take the safari too.

that blows my trip away, when I was 10 all we did was goto CJ Barrymores, and same trip 4 years after that..cheap school

bring snacks in the park..I have been there and EVERYTHING is wayy expensive,bring water cause you will get really thirsty and sunglasses and sunscreen

Get a Hidden Mickey Book! It's so much fun. You can get them at Disney or at a bookstore. (Ps: Im 11)

maybe a book or like a psp, or gameboy to do on the bus ride. i wouldnt take more than that unless you feel comfortable leaving stuff on the bus. because you have to lug that stuff with you when you are in the park.

All those ideas that were already mentioned are great . . .

  . . . for the bus ride bring some music, something to read, games, a pillow. A change of clothes is a really good idea - you WILL get soaked on Kali River Rapids.

  

You should be aware that the Animal Kingdom gets very hot, like scorching hot, during the day. You should have sunscreen, and like iSurfer said a water bottle - you’ll really need to make sure you have enough water.

Also, you should know that security will check inside any bag that you want to bring into the park, so keep that in mind if you plan on bringing a lot of stuff in a backpack.

I find it’s best to not bring anything with me that I have to carry around. A LOT of people leave things behind all the time, so the less that you have to keep up with while you're walking around the better.

That's too long. Try doing 14 hours to Disney World in a van full of wild loud mouth toddlers. I brought my PSP and a portable DVD player to keep me occupied.

I have been to animal kingdom and I was not prepared. Let me tell you my secrets of what to bring.

On the way there:

game boy

laptop

something to play with

In the park:

water bottle

camera

extra change of clothes (you might get wet)

money

a snack ( you don't always get to eat when you want)

Pack:

pillow

blanket

slippers

comfy pants and shirt (you WILL sleep)
