My boyfriend and I will have been together for a year in June and instead of just getting gifts, I want to have a a mini holiday with him. I need a much deserved/needed break from work and I'm low on funds so I'd much rather spend money for a nice weekend where I can have a little down time from hetic life and where we can celebrate our first anniversary in a special way than on just a regular present.Besides, I have NO idea what 'd get him.. lol. The problem is it'll be Winter.. and although I can't predict the weather (it may be sunny, who knows) I don't want to book a tropical destination and have nothing but rain. We live in Sydney South... Cronulla area... we want somewhere in NSW. I have no idea where we can go, my mind is a blank. We don't want anything majorly fancy but we like our creature comforts, we want something in a moderate price range... Any suggestions would be good

  1. Blue Mountains, Coffs Harbour and Batemans Bay would be my suggestions. You can get reasonably priced accommodation at the Blue Mountains and Batemans Bay, not too sure about Coffs Harbour though.

    Have fun =)

  2. GET LAAIIIIIDD GURRRL

  3. Find some little bed and breakfast that isn't too far away.  Save the travel fare and spend it on a nice romantic dinner and lodgings instead.

Google bed and breakfast in some little towns nearby or try yahoo travel or another travel site.

  4. A long weekend in a cabin in the blue mountains is great and only about an hours drive. If the weather is yucky curl up in front of the open fire place and snuggle up with a good red wine and each other company. If the weather is okkies there's heapf of nature walks and awsome veiws and outdoor picnics. And the blue mountains has some great little restraunts for a night out.

  5. Perisha Blue for skiing
