Long weekend in Europe in October? Where oh where?

I am planning on going away for 3 nights to somewhere in europe. I want somewhere cheap but somewhere where I will remember, with some sights etc. The weather isn't an issue for us, just somewhere special. Any ideas?

i think you should visit ireland or spain. if you wantd to go outside europe go to tunisia...its  so so so so so so nice!!!

Germany has the Oktoberfest - might want to avoid the big cities to keep the costs down...

Budapest

The don't convert to the Euro until 2010 I believe so its still pretty inexpensive - I was there last year and loved it
