Long wire the law?

is ir agaist the law to run a 40 feet long long wire aerial along the roof of my apartment?

it depends where you live and what is around you,

but the law is only really in forced around air ports and military bases.

you can also hide the wire if your not transmitting on it

I'm not sure if it's against the law , but you  should ask your landlord before you do something like that. Plus, they are likely to know if it legal or not.

Not necessarily illegal per se, but you might need planning permission from your local authority.

If it interferes with electrical equipment it does not conform to certain regulations and as such would be against the law
