Question:

Longboard Nose got chiped a little bit.?

I have a sector nine Padang Longboard skateboard made with bambo the nose hit a curb twice and is now kind of flat and not as pointey. What should i do or just not even worry about it. Please I need your help. Thanks for reading.

  1. My longboards look like that, especially after garage bombs.  You don;t need to do anything unless the bamboo layers are splitting.  If that's the case, sand the nose to keep it from splintering further and then coat the sanded area with several coats of spray lacquer.  (use fine steel wool between coats)


  2. i skateboard but to be honest Ive never touched a longboard but a chip off a regular board or a flatten nose wouldn't matter at all just loose pop which shouldn't matter with a longboard

    other than slow you down like a hundredth of a millisecond it wouldn't do anything, i wouldn't worry about it. if it only hit the curb twice i really doubt it could have damage it very much if at all.

    its not like you could do anything about it anyway right? not like its gonna grow back
