Hi,

I have just brought a petron longbow and when I got it out of the box the lims seem to be curving right. If you hold the longbowo ut straight, each end is curving to the right. he bow is straight since I have not stringed it yet but the bow is slightly one sided.

I know not alot about longbows so is this normal?

Thanks

  1. that all depends are how you are holding the bow as you look down it.....if you are holding it with the belly of the bow facing sideways then it is OK for it to curve......if you are holding it with the belly facing up or down then it is defective and you should return it for a new one

  2. It could be normal, a lot of the newer longbows have a bit of reflex/deflex built into the them. String it up and see what it looks like. You may be worried for nothing.

  3. I dont think that is normal for the limbs  to curve the limbs should be relatively straight
