Longer lasting period while on yasmin.?

i've been on yasmin for about a month now and i just got my period.. its been way longer than usual.. longer then it was when i was not on the pill.. hwats going on? is this something i should be conserned about?

This bleeding that you are dealing with is what would be classified as breakthrough bleeding.  This bleeding can occur because the body is trying to adjust to being on the medication.  It can take up to 3 months to fully adjust to being on the medication.

I would recommend though, going ahead and checking with your doctor as well to see what they say.
