Longer life expectancy-now a big problem...what should be done?

Many countries are experiencing an increasing life expectancy. What do you think can be done to cope with this( any govt policies u wish to be applied or other measures) because an economy will have lots of trouble to allocate resources,etc...

Build lots of nursing homes, and train all the school drop outs to take care of them. That way old people get taken care of, it puts kids off from dropping out of school and kids who do drop out have a job rather than getting money from government.

lol that was probably total c**p. but i dont think people having longer life expectancies is a problem.
