Question:

Longest luteal phase?

The not knowing is driving me out of my mind.

I got a positive OPK this month (for the first time) on CD 23. Today is CD 42, and I haven't started menses.

On CD 33 and 34 I had some very, very light spotting, and on CD 36 a little spotting as well.

POAS on CD 38 and got a big fat negative.

So if I'm not pregnant, my luteal phase is longer than the 14 day across the board average. Have any of you exprienced luteal phases regularly longer than 14 days?

Thanks!

  1. Try testing again.  For many women, it takes longer than 15 days dpo to get a positive pregnancy test.

  2. Yep, every month it seems, as my luteal phase is 17 days long (occassionally 18), so yep All too familiar to me, Here's hoping you still get your BFP this cycle.

  3. Its sounding very promising! Do you chart your temps? Have your temps stayed high? I agree that you could be pregnant and just not have enough to show on a test yet. I'd test again on CD 45 and if still no AF or BFP, set up a blood test with your doc.

Let us know how it goes!! Dust to ya
