My son's hair is at an in-between stage - too short to tuck behind his ear and long enough to get into his eyes. I do not want to cut his hair but I dont want to put it in barrettes or anything else "girly" The only time he is mistaken for a girl is when he is with his sister (they are twins) and people just assume they are both girls as she is very feminine. I tried a skullcap and his sister will not leave them alone and end up pulling it down over his eyes so he gets mad and takes it off. Any other suggestions?Oh and no I am not going to cut it. He has been poked and prodded by too many doctors and is as a result terrified of strangers. I cant cut it straight and I am not going to subject him to this torment when I dont have to.
