The Left-arm Proteas pacer, Lonwabo Tsotsobe, after proving himself as a potent bowler for South-Africa, surprisingly failed to live up to the expectations of Essex county.
Essex County provided an early release to the Proteas from the contract, one week prior to the expiry date of his deal with the club.

Tsotsobe also featured in limited overs games for Essex but again he disappointed the side after claiming only 8 wickets in 5 matches at an average of 30.25.
Previously, Tsotsobe had played 5 test-matches for South-Africa with 9 wickets to his name, at an average of 49.77.
The Medium pacer is known for his controlled line and length complemented with a natural ability to accumulate bounce from the deck.

This controversial tweet took the management by surprise and jeopardized Tsotsobe’s commitment with the team.
