  1. it is very possible ( i think :S ) when i was in wales i saw a girl and it was like looking into a miror she was like my double so i think it is true

  2. Forensic scientists (using photos) would likely measure small differences between two subjects such as length of earlobe or slant of forehead to prove two people are not identical.  However many individuals look 'exactly' like celebrities and are discovered by friends who notice the resemblance.  Of course only identical twins have identical DNA (if samples are available).

  3. yes it is possible for that to happen, and now with "cloning"

it is more possible than ever...

  4. I've seen two unrelated people who have *very* similar appearances, so sure it's possible.

  5. If you look at people, you can see similarities in all of us.You can recognize features unique to different parts of the world. With all the mixing people are more varied then ever.Still, there are a limited number of traits to be spread around. If you notice you can categorize.A so-called beauty can share the same traits with someone considered unattractive. An Example look at the acting Swayze brothers. The answer to the question is no,there are no Doppelgangers. However there are many others who will look like you,but different. It's not paranormal it's genetic. After all if you go back far enough we're all cousins.

  6. I think that it is possible if you did not add the word 'exactly'.

  7. Yes there is

genetics are like a giant RUBIK's cube, there are millions of variations of gene's which make up a person and like a RUBIK's cube the more you twist the cube (as in creating a family tree) the more variations there are. However if you keep twisting millions of times you are bound to get back to the finished cube every now and again. You then have your 'twin'

  8. They won't look "exactly" like you but very similar. I've had people tell me that several times. As far as finding your look-a-like...how would you know? You look the same.

  9. Centrete has it .  They're called doppelgangers and everyone is said to have one.  Mine moved to my area several yrs. ago.  She lives a completely different lifestyle from me.  I don't mind that she chooses these things for herself, but I wish her actions would quit impacting me.

  10. it is scientifically proved that there are 6 more people who look exactly like you

  11. Lol, good question, Um ... you normally call someone a double of someone but nobody is a non related twin, pretty impossible.

  12. I don't know about everyone else, but when I was 22 years old I was in a bar when my friends noticed someone who looked just like me.  When they pointed him out to me I was stunned...I thought I was looking in a mirror.  This guy could have been a clone or an identical twin.  It was very freaky to me and my friends.

  13. I dont know about exactly like you, however, like the yahoo avatars, there is really a limited number of variances in a persons face, so chances are there are a few people who will look real close to you.

I have a second cousin with the same name as me that looks almost exactly like me. Luckily we live on the opposide sides of the country.

  14. May be "cloning" existed from the begining of human race- a  variant for reserves of successful genetic combinations-some scientists say there is a bank for DNA  -under Earth or in the atmosphere and this is prepared in case of a  catastrophe  on Planet  all  DNA  to be evacuated somewhere.

  15. Omigosh I think so. Because when I was in India, there was this chick in a milk ad, and she looked EXACTLY like me! She was like my long lost twin!

  16. You, being female can't find them, according to Otto;

    Otto Weininger

In his philosophical text entitled s*x and Character, philosopher Otto Weininger writes that: "Or again, consider this: no animal is made afraid by seeing its reflection in a glass, whilst there is no man who could spend his life in a room surrounded with mirrors. Can this fear, the fear of the doppelgänger, (it is notable that women are devoid of this fear; female doppelgängers are not heard of) be explained on Darwinian principles? The word doppelgänger has only to be mentioned to raise a deep dread in the mind of any man. Empirical psychology cannot explain this; it reaches the depths" (Second part: Chapter IX).

No comfort to us men though is it ?

  17. The odds are very good that we all have at least one 'twin'. There are just so many people in the world and only so many combinations of facial features, arms lengths, skin colours, eye colou, etc. that people can have.

The thing is, this double would think, speak and act nothing like you do ...it would be a different person, but just look like you.

As far as finding that 'twin' ...you could search the rest of your life and probably never find her. Too many people, too little time.

  18. Yes. The term for them is Doppleganger.

I had one in the same city as I grew up in. He even had the same first name. I never met him but I would have liked to punch his lights out for the trouble he caused me.
