Even though he won the fight easily, it was clear that Juan Lazcano got through with some effective punches.  You could tell by looking at Hatton's face, and there were also a few moments in the fight where he was visibly shaken, and one of the times, it looked like he was going to go down if the referee didn't stop the fight so that he could tie his shoe.  I had said beforehand that Lazcano was tough enough to go the distance with Ricky Hatton and even give him a few problems, which he did.

hatton marks easily.. i personally have been hit with as little as 2 or 3 shots in a match and come out with a face looking like cream cheese. bruises heal really fast its the cuts that make all the difference. and hatton wasnt cut.
