Ok, my ends are split and they ahve gotten really nappy... They have gotten like that because I permed my hair to be curly, dye my hair too much, and flat iron it.. Now I haven't even messed with my hair, I've been waiting for so long to grow but nothing helps.....

Does anyone have something they put, do or what should I do?

My sister was telling me I should just get every last bit of ends cut off meaning i will have reallly short hairrrr...

IDK WHAT TO DOOOO...

**** PLEASE NO RUDE COMMENTS, I ALREADY KNOW MY HAIR IS REALLY BADLY TREATED....

  1. you should use a really good deep conditioner

    or you could make one

    like this

    1. mix 1 small jar of mayonnaise and 1/2 an avocado (it should look minty green)

    2. put it in your hair

    3. then put your hair in a shower cap and leave on for 20 minutes (you can also rap a hot towel over the cap for better conditioning)

    4. rinse

you can do this 1x a week

and limit how much you shampoo your hair because it dries it out

  2. um just cut your prints take the damage, dry, and  burn ends.thats what my mom said she nows alot about beauty hair cuts.just take good care of your hair ok.just buy good shampoo.

  3. I know it will be really hard, but your sister is right, you do need to get it cut.

Atleast the top of your hair has grown out, it looks really healthy and smooth at the roots =]

You need to start using a deep conditioning shampoo and conditioner. Pantene makes some great ones that can actually seal the ends of your hair so that when you go to the hairdressers your hair doesnt actually look as dry.haha.

Next up, you need to start using protein conditioning masks once a week and hot oil treatments once a month. These both help to repair and replenish porous (dry) ends.

If you use the shampoo/conditioner, hair mask, and hot oil treatments, then you could wait a month and you may not need your hair cut. However, the only real way to get rid of split ends is to have them trimmed. If you dont want your hair to be really short then i suggest asking the hairdresser to just trim a bit off the ends, but layer the rest. Layering will be good for your hair because it will blend in your virgin hair (new, soft hair at the roots) with your porous hair at the mid lengths and ends. It would also be good for your hair because it will take the majority of the dry hair off, leaving the smooth hair from the underneath sections of your head. It will also make it easier to straighted as it wont be as thick.

If you do really NEED to straighten it for as special occassion make sure your using a heat protectant spray or balm. This seals the cuticle so that your hair cannot be damaged by the Straightner, curling tongs, UV rays from the sun, or pollution.

    good luck

  4. You should get a short hair cut, if you don't cut your hair then your hair won't grow because the dead ends. So i'd suggest getting cute short haircut with some side bangs or something. I have curly hair, my hair doesn't get like that when 'i brush it, it just gets really wavy. I think thats because I recently got my haircut so all you really have to do is get a nice simple cute haircut and get rid of those dead +split ends. I hope I helped.

  5. ok you know what you should do.

cut a few inches at a time. like

    cut them..

grow your hair out to a good length that your happy with and cut them again till you whole hair is heathly again.

  6. Okay, I know this might suck big time, but you gotta cut them!

I would die if someone told me that cause it would be really short,

but really, it's in BAD condition and theres nothing you can do except cut it.

Go for a short bob, and get it permed, but take care of it. I mean really, look up hair masques and put them in once a week.

It'll grow out, eventually. And it'll be short, but at least you'll have a full head of healthy hair.

    Good luck! =)
