Taylor is interested in archery. She draws her bow and shoots an arrow at an angle of 50 degrees. It goes a distance of 100 meters. At what other angle could Taylor shoot an arrow with the same amount of force and have it go the same distance.

  1. Disregarding air resistance, a ballistic object will travel just as far horizontally if fired with the same force at an angle complementary to the original angle of fire.

    This is because the object will move forward faster, but will not travel as high or for as long a period of time.

    Answer is 40 degrees:

    90 - 50 = 40
