Lemuel Lawrence Lane, born in Pennsylvania and served in the union army. But I can't find other records on him? Can someone help me look for records of his parents? thanks

You haven't given any indication as to what year Lemuel was born I have just done a very quick search and found three different birth dates for a man by that name.

In 1870 Lemuel Lane, 31, born PA. lived in Springfield Twp., Huntingdon Co., PA.  The post office is hard to read, but it may be Meadow Gap.  He was a farmer, property value $500 and $100.  Wife Mary A. 29, born PA. Son Alexander (3?) b. PA., daughter Sarah J. 9 months, b. PA., Rebecca (Gutshall?) 11, b. PA. Lambertsons live on one side of them and Leaders on the other.  In 1900 he lives in Huntingdon Co., Todd Twp. and is 61, born July 1838,  PA. married 34 years, parents b. PA. day laborer, reads & writes.  Wife Mary A. 59 b. Dec. 1840, PA. parents PA. 10 children, 7 living.  son Walter 18 b. Feb. 1882 PA.
