Question

tell me....do u think there will be tornadoes there??? If there were, they woul be coming from Fort Smith and oklahoma. please help...im scared!!! :(

There is a tornado watch for your area. So there is a possibility. Be alert for tornadoes and other types of severe weather. Be prepared to take action if a tornado is spotted or the threat increases. If one is spotted or a warning is issued move indoors immediately into a basement or the center of the lowest floor under a sturdy piece of furniture such as a table. If outdoors or in an automobile/mobile home/trailer go into the nearest building or lie in the nearest low lying spot with your hands over your head. Also, heavy rain, wind, thunder and lightning may obscure the view and sound of the tornado.  Don't wait until you see or hear the tornado or else it might be too late. Tornadoes travel north northeast, so they would have to be coming from someplace like morrilton.  I wouldn't completely rule out the chance of a tornado since your in a tornado watch.  Watch the news and when it becomes a tornado warning, then get worried.  Warnings are for entire counties, so it may not include 72801, if you watch the news then they will tell you where in the county the real threat is.  also, watch where they predict the storm to be in the next few hours.  This well help you to know if you need to prepare to find shelter.
