Lookin to buy an 2006 range rover?

i hear there are so many problems with range rovers and that its super expensive to fix and just not worth it....is the range rover a problematic car? have you had any problems?

how much have your past repairs/brakes been?

If you have to ask then you probably cannot afford it.  You're going to be in way over your head with any Land Rover.

if your want a rove your retarded. they cast more to repair than any other car. its like the chance of you winnig the lottery of a problem free rover! you need a mercades g class or a honda crv 4 cyl. they are the best 2 cars for problem free cars

Land Rovers are not reliable cars. Especially the newer ones, they are just not capable of long-term commitments. I had a friend who owned two and always had an electrical problem somewhere her newest Range Rover. The lights flickered, things wouldn't illuminate, and she worried about breaking down. She had a 1993 Range Rover that was fine until 2006 when it quit. It broke down on her a few times in its lifetime and she only bought the new one with hopes that it had corrected the problems of former years. Turns out, the newer ones are even less reliable and more expensive to fix. That's part of the reason why their resale value is so low. A 2005 could cost under $30,000 when three years ago it was purchased for $80,000. My father calls Jaguars and Land Rovers "Britshit."
