Im wanting to go camping for my 23rd birthday. Im thinking of either the last weekend of august of maybe waiting for the first weekend of september so we don't have to deal with labor day crowd. We want a private place where we can have a few brews, do some fishing, and get a lil rowdy. i have a few places in mind but i thought i'd throw this out there to get some more ideas. Thanks! ~serena

I don't reccomend Cook Forest- rowdy does not fly there.  The first and last time I was there we were asked to be quit several times (before 11 pm) There were four of us sitting by the fire talking with the radio at a low volume.  And the sites are on top of each other.

    Have fun!

  2. i've camped in 2 places in that area:

ohiopyle state park--was lots of fun, the yougheheny river was fun for rafting and you could probably fish on it

---i forgot the exact campground  i stayed at but i remembered an area specifically set aside for people who wanted to get rowdy--no one will hassle you for being up late having fun

cook forest state park--famous for the clarion river--i rented a kayak and paddled down it, the kayak companies even drive you to the put in spot so you just leave your car at the end--lots of fun and  i heard the bass fishing is really good on that river
