Looking at going on Carnival Celebration?

Question

We are maybe going to take a cruise on Celebration Carnival Cruise Lines. Has anyone ever went on this ship before? If so was it good and can you give me some good tips to do? This is my first cruise and want to enjoy every bit of it. Thanks :)

I was on Celebration in 2002.  It is a smaller, older ship, but still in good condition.  It was a nice 5 day cruise.  Cozumel is always and great port, and Calica is well located near Cancun and Tulum.  I would recommend that you rent a jeep ($50) and drive to Tulum to see the ruins, and then head over to Akumal and snorkel with the sea turtles.  It is a great way to see the area.

The ship is a nice first cruise, but it leave you wanting to go again.  For your second, if you want to sail form Galveston, try Elation, Conquest, or Radiance of the Seas.  I have sailed all but Conquest and we will be on it in August.
