Looking back at past newspapers?

Question

hi,my mum wants to read a newspaper from around 1960-70

its irish.

can anyone of you recommend a site?

we were told it MIGHT only be in libraries.

Search google for the newspaper article you want with archives

This isn't much help, but you might check the newspaper's website and see if they have the 60s and 70s archived on there, otherwise, you could at least get an e-mail from the site and ask them where you could find copies.

Universities sometimes keep old papers on microfilm, too.

If you have an idea of what newspaper you're looking for, you could try contacting the newspaper(s) direct & ask to look it up for you and how much it might cost to print.
