Looking fo a very cheap youth hostel in paris?

Question

I'm travelling with my mother, and were looking to stay in paris very cheaply (under 15 euros an night) I have heard a lot of stories from people about, that they stayed in a real Youth hostel.. the ones with huge dorms.. but none of them can recall where they were found. I'm looking for any information you could possibly provide, (we would like to stay near to the center for two nights, the 14th and the 16th of april 2008)

Go for YMCA hostel, Cheap and best.

It is barely impossible to find so low cost inside Paris, maybe more chance in close suburb.

Even Low cost hotels 'Formule 1' or 'Mister Bed' are twice that price for 2 or 3 beds rooms and are not located inside Paris

Common transportation are not very expensive and daily tickets without limit of number of travel are available to foreign people.
