Looking for Accomodation either PG / Room on Rent in PUNE?

Question

Looking for Accomodation either PG / Room in a Flat - Single Room - Sharable basis is also fine with me.

Location - In and around Erandwane (off Karve Road) - a travelling distance of 30-456 min is also fine with me.

BUDGET - If it is a 1BHK - RENT - Approx Rs 3000/- with basic facilities.

If it is already occupied room - Sharable - approx Rs 1500/-......2000/- with basic facilities.

You will not find anything much in Times of India classifieds, first of all the rents in the area are too high for your budget.. plus many people want to rent the houses only to families. Sometimes even though rental flats ar available the housing societies have rules like not givng them to bachlors etc.. so thats what makes finding a rental house diffcult in Pune. So better way is to find it thr' someone you know.

Erandawane area or rather any place off Karve road is too costly to rent and almost impossible to find a place for 3000Rs ... I have a house in Warje which is like 6-7 kms from Erandawane and still rents are 6000Rs a month onwards.. Off karve road rents for 1 bedroom flats are like 8000 Rs or more. If you are okay with sharing then you might find a place for 2000-3000Rs.

Best way to look for flats in the area is talking to little shops who post such ads, if you ahve any friends in IT companies ask them to ask around , the area has a lot of IT companies like MBT, Persistent, KPIT cummins etc and many IT guys stay there on sharing basis rentals. So the newgroups within the companies have a lot of info of such rental accomodations.
