im not trying to sound mean but 19 years and you want to see how this kid is , what if he doesnt even know hes adopted. some parents never tell the kid they jsut treat them as there own. as well the adoptive parents may not want you interacting with him even if you found him.

Personally I would have loved for my mum to come looking for me - and I personally know many many other adoptees who would have wished for the same.

At least give it a try.

Shame on his adoptive parents if they are not welcoming of your inquiries. It's about the adoptee - not about the adoptive parents.

If the adoptee doesn't want contact - he is an adult - and can say so.

At least he will know that you asked after him.

I hope you find your son. Do NOT listen to anyone trying to discourage you. You are his mother, blood is thicker than paper.
