Looking for CertainTeed Presidential Weathered Wood Shingle in Cal--only region where it's no longer avail.

I need Presidential Shake in Weathered Wood for a house addition; to match an existing house. ANY EXPERIENCE YOU'VE HAD WITH THIS PRODUCT WOULD BE HELPFUL. Evidently, the color--Weathered Wood--is no longer available in Southern California. The local CertainTeed rep said the granules have changed, so the new Weathered Wood shingles won't match my existing house (that's being expanded) anyway, so they've tried to push a different color--Country Gray--which totally does not match. People act like shipping from another plant (e.g., from NM) is not an option, and I can't find a sample of the Weathered Wood at a local supplier. However, twice, CertainTeed headquarters (in PA) has said I can get it from another state (e.g., TX or NM). They said to call the local CertainTeed rep--the one I've already talked to.

I live in washington and have put weatherwood on my son's house and also have beach wood on my own......but their's also a color called driftwood and all 3 are close.....much better than country gray for closeness in color. They are out there, just keep looking and calling........I know you can get them. All the best.......you may email me and I can check here.....but only on monday.......after that I will be gone for 14 days..........all the best.
