Looking for College Station Texas and Texas A&M University Details?

Good Day I wanted to how is it like in College Station Texas and at Texas A&M University? I may have a job offer coming up so looking at the city and surrounding areas before I make a move. I am currently in South Carolina and about to start my career with my first job.

If you know of any websites or information about the people, diversity, or just your experience I will be very happy to hear from you.

  1. I think you'll find College Station a very pleasant place. College station itself has a population of less than 90,000 but with the city of Bryan the are has over 200,000 people.

    Its a college town and there is a fair amount to do. The Northgate section of town, just north of the University, has lots of bars, restaurants and music venues.

    It is quite a bit "whiter" than the country as a whole with a white population of over 80%. African Americans at only 5.45% are less numerous than Asians who make up  7.29% of the population.
