Looking for Cringerkeddy Ireland back in 1841. Census in England says there was such a place I need confirma?

I need someone to tell me if there was such a place

and where in Ireland....what county.

  1. It doesnt exist, maybe it used to exist but the name changed over the years. Although there is a place called Ringaskiddy in Co. Cork.

    the place is now called ringaskiddy and is just out side cork city county cork there was a lot of name changes in Ireland from 1922

  3. I still think you mean Ringaskiddy, which is in County Cork, and where the Cork Ferry terminal is now.

    I've never heard of Crinagerkeddy, but that doesn't mean it isn't there. Many townlands were abandoned during the 1840s, because of the potato famine.
