I am going to be relocating for 2 years to London, UK (we are looking into areas such as St. Johns Wood, Esher, Hampton, Surrey area) and have a 3 yr. old. I am looking for recommondations for good preschools that would possilby similar to those in the US. Also, any suggestions on websites with information would be helpful. Also, if anyone has had personal experiences in this area they could share (suggestions, things to consider, etc.), it would be greatly appreciated.

  2. Hello

Get onto the local borough council for details of pre-schools in the areas you are moving to.  From there go onto the OFSTED website and look up their inspection reports to see how they fair.

In addition to this you also need to go and look around them make sure you like the people who are running it.  Find out about what they offer they lay out of the hall and See how the staff interact with your child.

  3. Not sure of websites to reference, but St. John's Wood is a very international area, with several international schools and many American residents.  The whole area west of Regent's Park is wonderful, beyond Lisson Grove.
