Im getting a tattoo with my 2 year old son's name in it and I want a symbol in it as well. I've heard horror stories of people getting symbol tattoos that mean something entirely different then what they asked for so I was wondering if anyone could help me! Thanks so much! ANYYYY suggestions would be helpful!

  1. Blessing is 恵 "kei" or "e" and it can be used as the name, "Megumi" which obviously has the meaning of "blessing"

This kanji is in my friend, Ichie's name. "一恵"  "one blessing" or "blessed one." :)

Mother is haha, proud is tokuige na.

    Tokuige na haha= proud mother

    得意気な母

  2. 恵まれる (megumareru) means "blessed" and か文字 (kamoji) means "mother/wife." I don't trust myself with enough Japanese to know what "proud mother" would come out as (adjectives are still a bit difficult for me).

I did find 子宝に恵まれる (pronounced kodakaranimegumareru), which means "to be blessed with children," if that interests you.
