im looking to get the most out of my pioneer amp thats rated at 150x4 @ 2 ohms. I know infinity makes 2 ohm stable speakers but i was wondering if theres any other company that makes 6x9 @ 2 ohms thatll be able to handle that power.

  1. the 2 ohm rating is for the amplifiers complete circuit, not for the specific speaker, so if you run two four ohm speakers, the circuit will be 2 ohms, and carry the 150 watts, plus you get more speakers!!!  most two ohm stable speakers are actually 4 ohm coils with a 4 ohm bypass resistor, so the actual power of the coil is cut in half.

these speakers sound incredible and they are 2 ohms
