from 1.5 to 2 ct. in total weight.

What is your favorite jeweler? Should I buy loose stones if I can't find the specific ring I want?

  1. Try bluenile.com. You can pick out the stones you want and have them set in the setting of your choice, and you can do it all online.

  3. I have an oval center stone flanked by two round stones. It’s from The Shane Company www.shaneco.com

I highly recommend them if they have a store near you.

Chances are you’ll have to pick your setting and a loose center stone because oval isn’t as popular a cut at some others.

  4. My engagement ring is a 3 stone round diamond ring in 1.6 ct. weight. We bought loose stones and the setting from a local jeweler. I would go into a reputable one and tell them your preference. They can work with you to find you the perfect ring for the price you want.

  5. Try http://bluenile.com/

They have great prices, you pick your stones separately and then can buy them separate or choose a setting (they have three-stone settings) and have it set before it's delivered.  They are very reputable and have great customer service (my fiance did lots of research and called them before buying my ring).

  6. If you are looking for quality then I would go with

    Whiteflash.com

  7. I would strongly advise looking at actual jewelry stores first, so you can try on similar rings and have an expert teach you about cut, color, and clarity - they have a huge role in a diamond's value. You don't have to get your ring from the store, but it will make you a much better informed customer if you choose to shop online. I've heard the bluenile.com is very reliable. I also have a friend who buys jewelry at overstock.com all the time and raves about it.
