I like the looks of the Titleist 906F2. Any experience with that?

Also, I like the Ping G10.

My driver has the proforce V2 shaft.

Please....no mention of rockbottomgolf.com ... limited selection, outdated junk ... thanks.

  1. I recenty bought the Adams A3 hybrid 3 wood and like it.  My previous 3 wood was a Taylormade V-Steel which I broke.  The one thing that really stands out about this club is that it hits very well out of the rough.  You don't loose much distance even when the ball is sitting low.  I used the hit a hybrid from the rough but the Adams goes through the rough like its not even there.

  2. I also play a 905R driver, and I really like my Titleist 975F 3-wood and 5-wood.  The 975F is just the older model of the 906F2.  I have hit the 906F2 and I honestly cannot tell much of a difference from the 975F.  If you are willing to spend a little more, go with the 906F2.  But you can find some very nice 975F's on Ebay for good prices.  I bet the G10 is great too, but I like to stick with one brand of woods in my bag because they all have a very similar feel (assuming the shafts are similar).

  3. This is a good link that provides some good data/feedback on clubs et'al.

  4. Ping G10 received excellent reviews in Golf Magazine's Club Test(May issue).  It was rated best for hitting off the fairway.  Tour Edge's Exotics XCG was rated #1 overall for distance.  Don't know much about the Titleist 906F2.
