We currently own a 05 yukon xl that seats 9, we owe about 24k as we've only owned it about 7 months. With the prices of gas steadily rising I'd really like to get into something that I can actually drive. We are a family of 6, with 3 in carseats so it has to be a little spacious so we can all actually fit and fit our stuff too, you know stroller, diaper bag, groceries, stuff like that. I would love to get a new car that gives me a warranty and would like to keep payments around 350. We have excellent credit. Any ideas?

  1. Well it sounds like your going to have to make a sacrifice. It is hard to find a car that seats 6 or 7 thats not an SUV or minivan but i know your intentions.

There are some trucks that seat six but i dont know if you would be interested. Some have a fold up center console that turns into another seat.

There is the Mazda 5 but it looks too much like a minivan and is probably quite small.

I just thought about a new wagon. Look into a wagon that has a rear facing back seat. I know that some of the Volvo V70's and the Mercedes wagons do this. You might be sacrificing some room but you will get much better gas mileage in a wagon.

has been sold successfully for years in Europe as the Carens

it's sells fully loaded cheaper than some base models, if it has any bad points it would be it's low resale value but it has an excellent warranty and that one thing should not stop you from paying thousands of dollars less for a great car.

The Kia Rondo is a five-door crossover vehicle that debuted at the 2007 Los Angeles Auto Show. Based on the front-wheel-drive platform of the Kia Optima, the Rondo offers spacious legroom and headroom. Sharing engine, transmission and chassis components with the Optima, the Rondo is offered with a 162-horsepower 2.4-liter engine or a 182-horsepower 2.7-liter V6. The four cylinder comes with a 4-speed automatic while the V6 has a 5-speed automatic.
